The redevelopment of Portlaoise GAA forms part of an ambitious long-term vision to deliver a modern, high-quality sporting facility for the club’s members and supporters. Under the TOWN25 masterplan, Phase 1 of the development focuses on enhancing both indoor and outdoor amenities, setting the foundation for future expansion. Key elements of this phase include the construction of a new, state-of-the-art clubhouse designed to support a wide range of club and community activities, alongside the development of a walking track complete with floodlighting to encourage year-round use. In addition, significant pitch upgrades are planned to improve playing surfaces and overall performance standards. This phased approach reflects a strategic commitment to creating a fully integrated and sustainable GAA facility that will meet the evolving needs of the club for years to come.
