Educate Together School, Hollywoodrath
The Department of Education established a framework of suitable qualified contractors for the supply and installation of an enhanced Modular building programme, to build a state-of -the-art two-storey school comprising of 24 classrooms and a special education needs unit.
The building comprises of 152 modules that were transported to the site. With 80% of the building fit-out being completed in Actavo’s factory. The build used innovative materials to achieve optimum energy efficiency. The project was completed in 14 months. At the time it was the largest enhanced modular buildings project in Ireland.
